God is everywhere
You may or may not know
You’ll find God in despair
Or when joy is all aglow

If insomnia chaffs to encumber
God’s sings in your addiction
God’s whisper is sweet slumber
Even when you can not listen

The birds sing in the trees
And below humming manatees
The song of waves on breeze
The whales sing of seas

Rain shimmering like foil
And in the humble soil
There’s beauty in pickle jars
Glassy smooth and bright as stars

It’s difficult in illness or war
Unless you look up, see and share
love your fellow creatures more
And you will find God’s love is there
