A poem about faithfulness

memories rise,
envelop my mind,
lifted high,
I touch the sky.
others take me
to dark places,
empty spaces
echoes ricochet
off solid walls.

am I alone;
left on my own?

in the stillness
I hear his heartbeat
I knew it was him,
the collector of tears,
he fills bottles
he stores with love.

he always comes
he always will.
