A prosody

Stone by stone she builds
Rock on rock formations
With every stone, she hopes
To find her transformation

A volcano so perpendicular
To the clouds, always hiding
Her crater lies in shadows
On a plate almost submerging

Dormant volcano waking up
slowly subduction forming
Steadily she’s built enough
Opening, allowing

Material warmer than surroundings
To escape from its interior
Smoke from gas with sulfurous fine
Forming halo alike a crown

Feel the tremor deep inside
Her lava, ready to destroy
The foundation once created
A final rapture, she erupts

Creating a new earth
From under coal and ashes
In debris out of molten rock
A start of a stone existence

Every year new scratches
Made this stone unique
Hardening crust and outer layer
Pointy endings and sharpened edges

The stone became an individual
A gift from the One Creator
Receiving good and loving
But her scratches hurt a lot

From a lot of setbacks
She discovered what she was
Strong as a rock, not giving up
She fought for who she was

Her memories of the past
Imprints from burning lava
Why could she not, just for a moment
From her scars completely free

Now her surface is smoother
Hard edges hide a tender heart
You only see her defects
but the sadness is inside

It only roughed her outside
A rock in tiding water
Strongly standing firm
For who she is becoming

Occasionally falling from her cliffs
But always a cliffhanger
Climbing back on her rock
To save and calm surrounding

Holding on to stones
That give her a firm grip
Courageously collecting these stones
To pave the path for her

Stones can turn in cubics
Raw at first then polished
Until it forms a perfect stone
An addition to her temple

Stone is strong, but not alone
Stones can build together
All scarred and unique pieces
A way to a better world

In this unstoppable universe
It always seems impossible
Until it’s done conjointly
By the grace of same intentions

Stone on stone she builds
Rock on rock formations
With every stone, she hopes
To find her transformation

To do this, she must find
Her rock, her truth, her strength
Learning how to tend
Her stone spot in her heart

For it just holds a meaning
About who she was before
It only just revealed
The true nature of her core

A stone from a rock so firm
With a little gem inside
From buried past she resurrects
A phoenix from her ashes

Burned and unburned coal
Made whole by healing sorrow
Returning as herself
One she has never been before

Reaching on her path
A point of no return
A heart once out of stone
That stone heart has changed

From stone to life in light
She finally deciphered Love
Now her heart is shining

A gem I truly am
