If I promised you forever,
Would you understand,
A love that is eternal
Stronger than any man?

If I asked for forever,
Never leave my side
Facing every trail together
Never run and hide

If we had forever
My love would only grow
Giving me eternity
To find new ways to show.

If we lost forever,
Time turned it’s back
Leaving us forgotten
The screen fade to black

The world may forget us,
a footnote on the page
A lonely empty chair
Taking center stage

But I will know forever
A lifetime in a beat
My life was made so much better
and with you, all the more sweet

If I pledge forever
A union without end
Promise to be more than a husband
But confidant and friend

Hearts are not forever,
Bodies have limitations
Knowing we are not immortal
tragedy and celebrations

Love is forever,
Never destroyed or created
And this love I have for you,
I have dedicated

My life for yours, one heart
One spirit, one soul, one mind,
In this life and the next one
Forever shall we find

My other half in you
That which truly binds,
An angel to a devil
The evil to the kind.

My strength I found in you,
My hope within your eyes
Everything I ever wanted
Forever, two hearts tied

In sickness and in health,
In feast or famine, in hope and despair,
With my hand tight to yours,
I will always be there.

If there is no tomorrow
The world just fell apart
I knew the purest love
Forever in your heart.
